Mrs Worthington\u2019s Daughters<\/strong>

Under the direction of Carrie Hunt, this was a story of the desire to be famous. With the use
\nof choral speaking, the Paparazzi ensemble remained on stage throughout, providing a
\nmenacing reminder of the price of fame.<\/p>\n

Melanie, played by Meisie Germishuys, was our young wannabe actress-dancer-singer-
\nmodel. Desperate to find fame, Melanie makes some poor decisions and meets with some
\nunscrupulous characters, namely Pandora and a slimy agent, played by Joseph Long.
\nIt is Melanie\u2019s plain friend, Tracey, performed by Abigail Harrison, who ultimately reaches
\nthe heights of fame that Melanie so badly wanted – but at what cost?<\/p>\n

An excellent production, which kept the audience engaged throughout. We have come to
\nexpect outstanding performances from Broadway Youth Theatre and, under the direction of Carrie, these young performers did not disappoint. Well done Broadway Youth Theatre!<\/p>\n
