Back in 2010 I was very lucky to win the YAOM competition, when I was just 13 years old! At the time I was the youngest person to win the award, which was such a fantastic achievement for me. I re- entered the following year, mainly for more performance experience and feedback, as I was still very young. I was shocked and over the moon, to win again for a second time. After this second win, I was able to attend the musical theatre summer school at the prestigious ArtsEd in Chiswick, London.

This was a brilliant taster of life as a student of the school, and the standard expected of me, before I was able to audition at 15. I left the island at 16 to pursue my dream in professional musical theatre, where I attended both ArtsEd for 2 years and PPA for a further 3 years of training. After graduating, I was signed to Bolland and Reeve agency and then later Apollo Artist management. My professional career was filled with highs and many lows, and many almosts! but one of my highlights was performing with Marcus Collins in Peter Pan in Grays, Essex.

Since returning to the Island, I met my partner Tony and together we regained our love for performance in the various amateur dramatics society’s productions. A role I never believed I would be able to play was Ava Peron in Evita, a definite bucket list moment for me.

In November 2024 we welcomed our beautiful daughter Story, and in April 25 we opened our own theatre school, ‘Elite Theatre Arts’ – which is rapidly growing and going from strength to strength with over 90 students from Douglas to Peel. Teaching is really where my passion is now, and we are very lucky to be able to inspire our wonderful students at ETA with the knowledge and training we have gained over the years.
